Amitriptyline for Neck Pain

How long does it take for Amitriptyline 10 mg to take effect. I have been prescribed this for neck pain but after two weeks, nothing has changed apart from a weight increase!!

Personally I would go back to your Doctor and ask them, particulary as you have had no relief from the pain.
