Doctors or hospital?

OH has hurt his foot. He said it's been a bit sore for a few months now. The last few days it's got really bad and he's in a lot of pain. Don't know what the cause is.

Should he go to his GP or straight to the minor injuries clinic at hospital? I presume his GP (bit of a trek) would send him for an xray...Hospital is just a few mins away.

Also.........any tips on shutting up his moaning........<<<<<<that's actually more important. I might have to kill him.!!!!

I would suggest the clinic Ummmm. That way you get seen and you are not bothering A & E although as you say they will more than likely send you for an x-ray.
