Another post got me thinking, what things were you told that you thought were true, not silly things though. I always thought people that cracked fingers got arthritis and that you could see the great wall of china from space
My nan also reckoned if something freaked an expectant mother out the baby would be born with a birthmark in the shape of said freakout thing.
So I should have a birthmark in the shape of the gas bill.
Those things I posted on the other thread 4get, my nans really believed them. Also they told me that women in China who have slanted eyes have different shaped underbits to those of us in the West......
yer thats surprised me too. And I get fed up with people saying when you shave the hairs grow back thicker. As if!! The hairs on my legs would be 3 metres wide by now if that were true. They just feel thicker coz its a blunt end.
I knew a nurse friend whose ward sister said she knew if the nurses had sex the night before, she said she could smell it. (That really turns my stomach now that I remember it!)
4getmenot..skin cells do not remember colour, tattooist injects it under the skin and it stays there for a while but gradually dissipates sideways which is why old tattoos look blurry as if they have been in too hot a wash.
