I've been growing my hair now for about a year & 2 months.Use to get my hair just shaved usually a number 1 or just using the blade.Sine then i have been getting the hair trimmed near enough every 3 months. The problem i have is my hair is pretty thick & it's pretty thick round the back.My hair is near enough touching the top of my shoulders.

Someone mentioned to me maybe i should get my hair thinned out & it wont look as thick. What exactly does this mean & involve? And could i get this done at a Barbers or would it be an actual Hairdressers i would have to go to.

Has anyone had this done?

Thanxs

Thinning your hair means taking out the thickness of growth, but leaving the length, so it will look tidier, and hang more evenly. It can be done with scissors, and will probably take 10 - 15 minutes to do. A barber will be able to do this for you.
