do you believe in 'reading the signs'? such as happens in the final destination films...
such as if you are wondering with route to take, somethign random will happen which gives you the answer...
or perhaps you cant decide what colour car to buy an suddenly every thing is showing you the colour or the word green or something
it sort of happened to me a few years ago when i was hiring an assistant...i had 2 to choose from an couldnt decide... an for about 2 days i kept seeing their name on things and also noticing red heads...
im not sure what i think of it, but its interesting when it seems to be happening an hard to ignore...i know people will just say coincidence...but its interesting all the same
mmmm when i had toothache, every advert, book and article i read seemed to be about teeth/toothache. My take on it is thta they're always there, they just don't always resonate with you.
For example, when i found out i was pregnant, every body in the world seemed to be, plus every ad was about pampers. Then not so much for a few months, and now they are evrywhere again, because it's resonating with me
I don't believe in magic but I believe that when faced with a dilemma, if you have the opportunity to step back from it the subconscious starts sorting out a course of action. A bit like not pulling so hard on a snarled-up knot in string - if you introduce some slack, you can start to unravel it better. The subconscious then finds ways of prompting the conscious brain. Just my thoughts.
Long ago I was in a book shop looking at "A Guide for the Advanced Soul" by Susan Heywood. It is loaded with inspirational quotes and was facinating reading.
The preface advised that the book could be used like the one by the same name in Richard Bach's "Illusions". Hold it in your hand and ask the question. Open it and there will be your answer.
I was fairly broke at the time (1988) and had just spent $120 on some furniture that I could barely afford. I said to myself the it would be "a bit outrageous" to buy the $20 book but I knew I really wanted it.
I couldn't decide, then I thought, try asking the book.
The answer: "The advanced soul should be outrageous".
I have used that book like this only very rarely since but when I have it has worked perfectly every time. One quote we used in our wedding ceremony. I scanned right through the whole book after opening at that page and nothing came close in being as appropriate for what I had in mind.
When you start reading signs to help you make decisions you're on the route to a place where the rooms are padded and the jackets are secure and tight .
I think I'm getting what you mean, sometimes you think it's paranoia until some other 'sign' springs up. It's madness and it happens to me a lot and then sometimes it goes away and I think it has gone. Then it comes back to bit me in the bottom.
