Have you ever properly betrayed someone beyond your own belief ?
I mean totally let someone down in the most hideous way imaginable.
Obviously the reason I ask is because I have and there isn't a single day that goes by when I don't bitterly regret it.
Time has passed and there is little or nothing I can do to make it right.
I am so SO sorry Pasang.

That is the bottom line, so get on with life and only worry about things that "you can do something about"

Thankyou. You are both right and I'm embarrassed about posting this, I hope it disappears into obscurity (after this).

AP....thinking about it daily and regretting it means that you're a decent person.

ummmm, my love

.<<<.thinking about it daily and regretting it means that you're a decent person.<<<

Not so, in my opinion, with that philosophy as long as one regretted some indiscretion and then acknowledged guilt that would then make them a "decent person"

Wait a minute........that is the basis of the confession in Catholicism.......no, I have got that wrong somehow?

Better than having no feelings Sqad..
ummmm...we are not talking about "no feelings" we are talking about when to give up the feelings of guilt and to move on.

Feelings can be destructive as well as "normal"
I know...but some people do bad things and feel no guilt.
You have mail btw...
