Hi, Just been prescribed the above for high blood pressure and it says on the NHS website.....
Alcohol
Alcohol can interact with certain medicines.
In the case of Ramipril:
this medicine may interact with alcohol
You must not drink any alcohol if you are taking this medicine.
Anyone have any suggestions as i do enjoy a beer.
Thanks

am sitting here with a glass of red wine, purely for medicinal purposes you understand (it's a smooth, fruity la chasse du pape) and will shortly move on to a glass of chilled fizz (charles volner demi-sec), also for medicinal purposes.
i'm pretty sure my own gp would be all in favour too, in fact i could almost guarantee it :)
