by the way, 3000 - 6000mg per day of vitamin c with bioflavanoids (in 500mg doses throughout the day) together with grape seed/pine bark extract (OPCs) is great for preventing bruising. It works by both strengthening and improving flexibility/permeability in the vein/capillary walls. Used consistently, this regimen will take care of the problem pretty well and starts to work pretty quickly. I also find arnica gel extremely effective for getting rid of bruises in less than half time.
