Urgent eczema question
24 Answers
My daughter suffers from acute eczema but, until now, we had it under control.
Lately, she has been suffering from severe rashes on her hands, legs, buttocks and, starting tonight tonight, her face!
She is in pain and very distressed
Primary care said 'take her home and give her Calpol!
The doctor's keep sending her home or prescribing creams that only make it worse.
I have taken her to the GP, the Primary Care and the A and E, they all just keep throwing useless creams or ridiculous advice at me.
Has anyone got any experience in this? I need help.
Although the last doctor I saw said I shouldn't worry about it
She previously suffered from Henoch Schonlein Purpura.

Could you make sure that she has only cotton bed sheets and underwear, try maybe Betnovate 1:4 dilution- it worked for me, but also use a good moisturiser on dry eczema- I use Dove Intensive lotion for extra dry skin, as it seems to be soap-free etc. The main thing I have also done is restrict my diet and then gradually re-introduce foods one by one. I am convinced that eczema is a reaction against some kind of allergy in the body which is put there by food- in my case, dairy products and wheat made my eczema worse. I did the Carol Vordeman detox- still really healthy and nice food but really helped my symptoms. This time of year my eczema gets worse cos of cold weather and central heating. I try and wear long skirts and moisturise when out of the bath, then when skin is dry (don't use a towel, dry in the air), apply very sparingly the Betnovate to the dry areas. Make sure the bedroom is ventillated to avoid getting too hot and itchy. Eczema is a tough one to sort.
I'm really sorry to hear about your daughter's situation. I can only imagine how distressing it can be for you as a parent and for your poor daughter.
I've put a YouTube clip for you that you may be able to relate to. If you think that the product in it will help (I'm very confident that it works where many others fail) let me know the best way to get in contact with you as the product is not offered in shops.
Whatever you decide, I sincerely wish your daughter a speedy recovery.
