Cold feet

Last night I went to bed around 2am but I was so cold I couldn't sleep. It took until about 5am for my feet to warm up even though I had a thick duvet and several more coverings on my feet area. I don't like wearing socks in bed but I did, however this made no difference. I've tried in the past to use a hot water bottle but this just makes my feet sweaty and doesn't even warm them up so they are cold and sweaty!

Is this a bad circulation problem? Anyone got any tips on keeping tootsies warm please?

Thanks

Haven't been to the docs about it as I didn't think it was of great importance.

Mmmmm yum!
it might be worth a visit to your vet.....sorry, GP....just to make sure there are no underlying health problems

Yeah maybe Mrs O. I'll wait till the flu thing dies down as I'm prone to catching all manner or lurgies and there are usually loads of them lurking around in the waiting area.
Very true tigger......hospitals and doctors surgeries are very unhealthy places!
Sounds like Raynaud's Syndrome. My daughter has it. Cold hands and feet, nails turn blue or black if they are very cold. Made worse by cold weather, has to wear thermal gloves and thick socks.

Indeed Mrs O. Hand sanitiser can only do so much and the Catch it, Bin it, Kill it campaign only works if you have a tissue attached to your nose.

Very very very unlikely.
We have a hot water bottle each. OH has one with a cover but I dont like it covered. We orefer them to an electric blanket as they stay warm all night. If you get out of bed during the night, when you get back in theres always some warmth left in the bottle to cuddle up to. I sometimes wear bedsox but often have to take them off during the night. My OH feet are like blocks of ice sometimes, but his body is always red hot. I keep on at him to go to the Docs, but you know what men are about docs !!

My feet are like blocks of ice as well. I'm just looking at Amazon for microwaveable socks and thermals although I don't like wearing anything in bed.
lots of microwave slippers here - I personally recommend their use...
