Are love bites dangerous?

I've got a couple of lovebites at the moment. My friend was horrified when she saw the one on my neck (I didn't tell her I had one on my nipple) and said you can die from them. I told her not to be stupid (I've had quite a few in the past) but now I'm secretly worried.

What do you mean by "love bites?".....just a suck......skin intact without any bleeding?..........no they are not dangerous.

Skin broken........with external bleeding.........then just hope he is not HIV+

yeah when she had a new boyfriend. she's quite a cool mum and knows she didnt need to hide it from me. I'm lucky we're close and not a frumpy mum like a lot of my friend's mothers are

Don't be ridiculous. I hardly think I am fit for Jeremy Kyle show just because I have a couple of lovebites (one is hidden under my bra and i put foundation on the one on my neck) I am a teenager, of course I am going to have a bit of fun. I bet you did!
