like a log, especially if there is some nice female fresh to cuddle......
flesh not fresh! *though the two may be linked*
My sleep patterns are very variable now. I tend to snore so would like to sleep on front but find it very uncomfortable. I always seem to end up on my back.
"How do you sleep?"

Always with my eyes closed. My feet, they are always hot and have to be exposed, no covers.

Hi Tinks, how are you doing today?
Hi Society, you have been quiet around here today.....!

Count i am same i dont know how many posts i have made about vivid dreams they really disturb me!!! I have several dream dictionarys snd i try to make sense of them!

Hey society!! Much the same to be honest! Just in from work ...off tomorry daytime though..yay! And you? Xxx
I sleep on my left side, in a double bed, just for me!.....sometimes turn onto my right side in the early hours, just love having a double bed to myself!.......when my Oh is home, I love having him here!............but not in my bed!...............
I sleep in a very drafty room so need a woolen hat to keep my ears warm.
Hello DT, thanks for asking. Multitasking a bit - working on some papers while glancing in an out on here. Hope all is well in your world.
Tinkerbell. I wouldn't try to make sense of them. Basically, you are an anxious person and the bad crazy dreams are as a result of it. Dream dictionaries are a waste of time in my opinion. No-one could analyse my crazy dreams!!

To all of you that suffer I hope you get a decent nights sleep. I know I won't - I never do!! I would just love a night of going to bed, going to sleep and waking up at a reasonable time the next morning feeling refreshed. I never, ever feel refreshed in the morning - I feel worse when I wake up and for the first hour or so of being awake than at any other time of the day.
Lottie, when you lie on your bed let your mind go blank and focus on your breathing. You'd fall asleep in no time without you knowing. Go to bed the same time every day, and practice doing this. It works...
It would be very nice to sleep through the night. I sleep for a couple of hours and then wake up and can't get back to sleep. What are those memory foam mattresses like tinks? Do they really help you to sleep?
Lottie

I sympathise with you. I have nights like that, wake up feeling like I have never been to bed. Not yet found out anything that helps consistently.
It don't have any trouble going to sleep society. But I only sleep for about an hour before waking and then sleep fitfully all night studded with weird dreams and nightmares. I am asleeep within minutes of getting into bed!! The nightmares and dreams totally tire me out. I wake up feeling exhausted.

My problem is acute anxiety for which I have to take medication. (And bloomin' arthritic aches and pains which don't help).

Starbuckone...i didnt wana splash out on a full matress dont have the money just now...so i bought a topper for cheap from ebay! 2inches thick and sits on top of my mattress :0) i love it...not tried memory pilows yet cos i like to fold my pillow sometimes hehe xx
I have a memory foam topper which I love, but my bed is really comfortable and certainly isn't the problem.

I find mornings dreadful. I am fine now - will go to bed shortly, go straight to sleep and then wake up about 1.30am. and then about every hour or so!! Doctor prescribed me sleeping tablets and and they worked but I couldn't get up at all for about 15 hours and felt dreadful for the next 24!!
I have a memory foam pillow - a pucka one - tempur and I hate it. Like sleeping with your head on a brick. I find my Dunlopillow one much better. It was damn expensive too!!
I tend to sleep in the foetal position on my left side, unless my gf stays over because she sleeps on her right but has to be near the door so out of good manners I sleep on my right then! ha!
I've had some mad dreams that couldn't possibly mean anything, I once dreamt I was slapped across the face by a panda with a human hand!
Sounds reasonable, I might try that and also society's suggestion - although it will be easy to make my mind a blank, there's not much in there at the best of times. I am getting plenty of suggestions tonight to make my life easier and better.
