What is the best thing to take to help with sinus problems?

She doesn't feel poorly at all but has a bit of a bunged up nose...and deafness (like being on an airplane before they pop)

Otrovine Nasal Spray...three times a day.....morning.....mid afternoon and before she goes to bed at night.

Should settle within a week.
Sterimar...nasal spray, clears the sinuses, very soothing, no side effects....I sound like an advert, i keep recommending this stuff.
sunutab are very good. Unfortunately, i've tried the cheaper alternative, and the weren't as effective.
The last time i was suffering, the doctor gave me a nasal spray called beclometasone. it was for hay fever but did help.
I suffer from sinusitis a lot, but have to say that it doesn't give me the ear thing that you describe. The only time i had problem with my ears with it, it turned out i had labirynthitis, a totally different inner ear condition. Perhaps a trip to the doc would be in order?

I do sympathise with her ummmm.

I have been a sinusitis sufferer for years. My doc has prescribed anti-biotics in the past & I'm never without a bottle of Otrivine nasal spray for when I can't breathe! Very frustrating, 'specially at night! ;o/

It's the ears that are really bothering her. She's gone now though....
ummmm Cheers.Ron.
Steam inhalation is as good as anything. It's the steam that actually helps, not anything you add to the water t hough.

Bowl of steamy water on table. Towel over head and bowl. Careful though not to get scalded. Good for your skin too (if you take makeup off first)

I can't use any of the nasal sprays they make my nose bleed :o(

Probably menthol Pinki. Makes your eyes water!! You are very cruel!! ;o)
Question Author
