seeking someone from my past

I've previously asked the question below, but amended slightly now, under the Society and Culture section, but only got one response, so I thought I may get more responses here?

I'm trying to find someone from my past, but I haven't got a lot of information I'm afraid.
The only information I have is that she came from Braintree in Essex, and that we first met at the clubhouse in the Martello Caravan Park in Walton-on-the-Naze (also Essex), and then again a few years later. My family owned a caravan on the site, as did her's. This would have been in the 1980's. She would have been around 15 when we first met, so would be in her early forties now. I can't remember for definite (old age etc) what her first name was, but possibly Sandie? and I don't know her surname at all I'm afraid. But any help in trying to track her down would be appreciated.

Looking for someone but don't know their name. That sounds a bit of a challenge.

Perhaps you can go back to where you used to meet, see if anyone has any information there.

I have no idea how you would go about finding someone whose first name you are unsure of and whose surname you don't know at all! I think the other suggestion was to contact the caravan site and see if they had records of previous owners. The likes of friendsreunited need both a first and surname to do a search, but I did a search for Sandie from Braintree in Essex on Facebook and got one result

why now ? Sandie would probably now be calling herself Sandra.try putting an advert in the local Braintree paper, eg researching for a book about Martello Caravan Park in the 80s anyone who was there pls contact ......
its a long shot but should start you off.

murraymints, I'm still intrigued to know why you wanted to know if my name was Danny? Is it because you specifically remember a Danny? Or is it that like myself you can't exactly remember the name, but think it maybe etc?
