Even with arms and legs, if at least one partner wasn't strapped down you'd be sort of floating around and that would make things awkward possibly. Also the arms and legs thing tends to work best if at least one person is essentially stationary. So he's right. Probably.

I was thinking more along the lines of sex involving more than one person . . . in my case, preferably female.
