First Date Ideas

I am taking a girl out for the day next Friday. We've known each other a while, there's been some flirting and some texting but we're at the "first base" stage. I need original, fun ideas on how to spend the day (and possibly evening) within 2 hours driving distance of London. Something unusual, something she won't be expecting (i.e NOT dinner/film/theatre/bar etc). I want it to be something no-one else on a first date has done. Can anyone help?

Hi Johnny.Well I guess it depends slightly on how old the two of you are - ie if you're in your 70's I woudlnt suggest bungee-jumping!!

Having said that I would be careful about doing something new and unusual on a first date - you will be nervous enough without any extra pressure.

How about a surprise romantic picnic somewhere?

Hi saint , Why not go to London Zoo followed by canal trip(if they still do them) then onto madam Tussauds or if it is a nice day over to Hyde park (serpentine) and hire a rowing boat that is a good laugh or you have the London eye, boat trip from westminster pier or go to the coast and spend the day at the fair everyone likes that then to finish the day off fish & chips out of a paper bag, heaven, she could only be impressed with that touch of class,

What about the London Dungeons? That would be the last place she would expect you to take her. But then again it might be the last place you do get to take her if she hates it!x

Zoo is a good idea...Drusillas on the south coast is good. Nice with small animals. Good for a picnic as well. The Brighton Marina is great for an evening out. There is bowling which is excellent and great places to eat. Good for walking around at night people and boat watching as well! Hope the date goes well.
