Where are all the men?

I'm wondering if there are any people out there that can help me. I was with with someone for 5 years from the age of 17 and we broke up last summer. I have now been single for a year and am now starting to think about a new guy. I've just turned 23 and I do get a lot of attention from men but just never the ones I want, I always end up chasing men that I like but at the moment I can't seem to find any good men! Where do I find decent, good looking, sweet, funny, intelligent men??? I had one for so long and thought they were two a penny but now I'm on the lookout again they seem to have disappeared! Does anyone have any ideas where I would find a Joseph Fiennes-a-like?

Thats very sweet of you, I think the first part of my quest though is to disclude men on the internet (you never know what you're getting!)
But, as a man, where do you all go? Also, is it necessarily true that men think that if a girl is in a nightclub, she is there only to get laid and therefore not the place to look for a life partner?

I go out to pubs in toon. Not been clubbing for a while.

If we make the effort and expense to go clubbing then its probably in the hope that we get "lucky".

Bars are probably better, b4 we get too drunk and one-track-minded.

Just beware of the ones who seem too conifdent, and have the fancy chat up lines, as they will use them in every bar on different birds..

Seriously, though, I'd agree with Cobra that it's better to meet people in bars/pubs rather than clubs. If nothing else, at least you can have a decent conversation rather than having to rely on being groped and drunkenly leched over.

Sounds like you are trying too hard. Just get on with your life and you will probably find that someone comes along when you least expect it. Ever thought that you might be scaring them off because you seem desperate? LOL
