I really like a girl in my local borders - it is so difficult to spark up a conversation though. i have spoken to her twice but i find it impossible to just come out & ask her out. what can i do, it is costing me a fortune in books??! & maybe she is just being nice to me cos i is a customer - HELP

"Have you seen _______ that's on at the cinema? It looks really good!" If she replys No and yes she agrees it looks good, you could then say do you fancy going to see it this weekend?
Or
If she says she has seen it ask her what she thought of it and then say that other film _______ looks quite good too, have you seen that one? If she says No then do as above ;o)
Try to find out her interests and see if you can arrange a date around them.

buy books at all in order to speak to her.
surely you can just browse in the shop.
