I get this question all the time at work & "do you fancy me?" (I say "No") "why?"
This is not flattering, I work with adults with learning disabilities. In my head the response is "You have have learning disabilities*. I know I can't say this, so can anyone suggest a response that is not offence to them, that will shut them up (if possible) and won't get me the sack!
you could always say you're not allowed to go out with people you work with, so you don't really look for relationships at work.
I come into contact with people with learning difficulties a lot as the cafe I work with encourages carers to come in with the people they look after and I know how awkward it can be, sometimes the best way to deal with it is a white lie. Or why not just say that you have a boyfriend? How are they to know any different?
Ooh this is tricky, i worked in a care home and the old men and women come to that grab my BTM on the way passed, i want to slap them but same as yyou to scared i will loose my job! i was told to try would you like it if i did that to you. I wont repeat the reply but put it this way i left ASAP!!!!LOL
I think the answer of yes one day is good. Or you could say i dont think my bf would be very happy would he. Only problem is if they know you havent got a bf!!!
Good luck! DONT get the sack!
