Why havn't I ever had a boyfriend!?

I'm 21 now and I'm a bit fed up with being the only person out of all my friends who is still single and not seing anyone.

I meet a lot of guys I really like and get on with but it often ends up with us just being really great friends, it's so frustrating!

I met another guy recently who is a friend of a friend and he seemed keen and we really got on but things seem to have quietened down now and he seems to be going the same way as everyone else and ending up as a friend.

I don't like chasing people as it looks desperate but I'm fed up of being single!

What should I do!?

Join a club of some sort. Sports, choir, drama or whutnot.
Don't even dismiss the local bridge club (not that I've ever been to one). It's impossible that Mr Right is not out there somewhere.

PS. My chap says bird watching but I'm not sure if thats a pun or not.

no offence... but why are you "fed up" w being single? i just don't get what the big deal is? i'm not trying to be mean...pls don't take it the wrong way...but...my god the last thing i want is to be in a relationship..you're 21 you're young for Christs sake...have fun...go out w different people and don't get boggled down w a relationship

Hmmm, maybe the guys see you as a friend because you dont make it known that your interested.
Or maybe your making it too obvious that you like them and it comes across as teasing.
But really i think your just jealous because all your other friends have someone to show off and you dont.

From this oldies point of view-maybe it is better to be friends...at least at first. Then a more lasting relationship may develope. There is also always the 1 night stand!...lol

Go out on a date with me. ..I am still single as well. I am sure I would love to date you. I am a caring male, but at 35 I would suppose you would think I was too old for you. I look 21 though, (plus a bit). I know exactly how you feel, I am just about the only person I know who is single, and it is not a nice place to be. There seem to be more than one of us in this predicament here on AB, and I don't see why we can't do anything about it. I think it is really bad then we can't directly contact each other, as we have a lot in common in many cases. We could even organise an AB get together, but anyone got any ideas as to how we can do that when we are not allowed to post email adds.s
