Do all men test woman in relationships? Like not ringing or cancelling dates for minor reasons? My boyfriend has cancelled on me recently for no apparent reason but recently asked me if i wanted to be with him, i said of course i do, i asked him the same question, to which he replied of course i do more than you think..Im confused! x x

Yes. I think men constantly test women during a relationship, in an unconscious way when the tease you or say something provoking - they do it so they can guage your reaction, to see how far they can push you, to see how much they can get away with. You have to give back as good as you get and show him you're up to the challenge and won't let anyone mess you around. When they do this, it's a sign that they see you as an equal and I think it's a healthy thing, within reason, if you know how to deal with it.
However, I don't think cancelling a date is a sign of him testing you, if he's really into you he will overcome hell and high water to be with you! Are you sure it was for a minor reason and not for something else he didn't want to talk about? The not ringing could be anything, guys have a different idea about phones and hardly ever call enough to satisfy a girl. But if he's NEVER calling you, then he's just not that into you.

Then again maybe he cancelled because he went to go buy you an engagement ring! But yes, men test women in relationships.
