Hi all,

I am putting together a package of bits and bobs for my auntie and uncle who are currently out in switzerland. They have been living out there for a year and although they love the place, they are not happy in their jobs and are coming home to england later this year. To cheer them up I am putting together a 'Happy Box' which is going to be a package I send over with lots of nice little things in it to cheer them up and make them smile.

So far, I have a few bars of dairy milk (they cant get it out there as it is all Swiss choc and they really miss it!). I have also put a top in there as my auntie liked my top when I went to visit so I got her one in her colour.
I am putting some jokey bits in there but just wondered...............

What things would be in your happy box, what makes you smile?

Thanks

some gossipy mags
some good music
little puzzles
Katie, this is becoming slighty sickening...lol ;O)

I'd put some coloured pop corn, or some brightly coloured confettis in too! A copy of Hello, a copy of the sunday Times, a CD with all current British singers on it, maybe a photo-collage of their friends/family, a very tacky keyring of a red phone box/bobby hat/big ben...
i got 6,7 different presents from my bf last xmas, the pink massage pillow and a pretty dairy made me smile, jefa cake and a cooking wok made me laughing :)
:-p
photos of when they used to live here

and how its changed xxx
A whoopee cushion and a copy of Roger's Profanisaurus
in my box would be

the smash hits annual
a large volume of chocolate
my mp3 player
my nike 10 degree driver
some golf balls

and my car if I could just about squeeze it in
A box of proper tea bags
A little jar of marmite
A pack of 5 .................... Cadbury's flakes
A large pack of Bombay Mix
A pack of salted peanuts
A box of Jaffa cakes
A couple of bottles of Newcastle Brown Ale...
A jar of Whole Earth Peanut Butter
hmmm in my experience the jaffa cakes will be gone in under 10 mins
Shhhhh Cazzzz. don't tell everyone !
A kitten(as long as it didn't have to stay in the box too long!...a couple of "jellycat" soft toys(no I am NOT too old for them)...all of Norah Jones cd's....some pretty beads and natural stones such as turquoise for calm and relaxation...a dreamcatcher( to lose the bad ones and keep the good), and finally-some dark chocolate.

Oooo I like the Jaffa Cake idea Mirela and Jugglering, you are right though, they will be gone in 10 minutes!!! They are like chocolate pringles - whats you pop you just cant stop!!!

I think I will do a collage too ~max~, thats a great idea, thanks.
They said they are really out of touch with the charts here at the moment so some music from the charts in england would be great. Perhaps the latest Now Music album!!

Thanks everyone!
