is my boyfriend cheap?

i'd love my boyfriend to buy me some nice jewellery or something, but he just doesnt spend any money on me. ive bought him a few gifts in our relationship and even though i dont buy him them to get gifts in return, something small would be nice. i know he loves me, we've been together for almost a year and he's never bought me anything. am i being crazy or is he cheap?

prehaps hes like me and no matterr what he thinks look nice hes scared of disopointing you buy gettin you something you wont like, i would understand if that was like him prehaps do what my girlfreind does and goo shopping and drop suttle hins on whats nice.

Maybe he's financially astute and realised that the housing market slow-down in America 12 months ago would eventually ripple over here causing the credit crunch and lack of confidence in the economy.

In a whole year you must have passed a Chtristmas and a birthday? If he hasn't bought you "anything" then perhaps you should just accept that he is very frugal and love him just the same.

My friends boyfriend buys her things like Polo mints and packs of knickers for 'special' occasions! She does like both but would like something moe like perfume, earrings or even a matching set of underwear!
He is very frugal and has a good bit of savings. He is however happy to pay for things (bills, meals etc), he's just crap at gifts! He doesn't think on and admits it!
Tell your man you'd like the odd treat, even a kinder egg is something!

I have been with my other half for 5 years and the most i have ever had apart from xmas and b/d presents is a takeaway!!!...but i have no doubt that he loves me. Its the simple things that count not what you get or how much you spend. I have friends that get heaps of stuff off their other halves...hair extensions...new cars...jewellery...flowers...weekends away...but that doesnt always mean they are happy!!..some have even divorced!..concentrate on making good foundations together they will last longer than a bunch of flowers. cheesy but true. :)
