you need a buddy, have you joined facebook? you can make friends in your local area, or start going to the pub to play pool, if you go regularily you will get to know people.

its always scary to start but if you do nothing, nothing will happen, once you get a likeminded buddy who is also single you can go out on the pull together

You could try paying a mate to go out on the town with you if they have no money.
I wouldnt recommend cruising about on your own, perving at women.
Why not join a dating site, there are loads of free ones out there. If your just after sex, i can give you info on where some brothels are near you...

Mr B. I dont think angryman is after sex from the sound of things. Angryman you said you have 'no friends as such who would fancy a pint locally' It doesnt have to be a pint, bowling or cinema etc...the way most people meet their partners is through a friend. I am the same age as you and met my partner through a friend, I kind of knew my now partner, but not very well, my friend invited him to a bbq I was going to and the rest is history!! Dont lose hope, it will happen!

dont get me wrong i have mates but most are far away after uni or the ones around here dont reallly go out much. i would go pay pool but the pubs are quite rough and im no good with small talk. i realise if i dont change nothing else will, just feels around here people have m8s already dont need new ones. wat shall i do then. dont joke about brothels i might hav 2 at this rate lol

if you put your options on the table what do you have
work= get friendly with someone who may be interested in going out (single)
join something= probably the best other way of meeting people, you could do voluntary work or join a group (

sport = take up a sport, you can meet a lot of new people over a period of time
or get chatting to an online group who are local to you, they often have meet ups you can find them on places like facebook

like cazz says..join a group,skittles darts pool..dont worry..if you join one of them,you will be the master off small talk.Dont sit on yer ar$e..get out there...there's some one waiting for you...might not happen in the next week,the next month..but it will happen,when you least expect it.Take care,you will meet someone special one day/...(*_*)

I do not know where you live but I am sure that you will find a local Ceroc class. Google CEROC to find it. Ceroc is a dance class (a mix of jive and salsa) easy to learn and always short of men. A great way to meet girls and make lots of friends also. don't be put off by the dance thing, it is not sissy ish and easy to learn. It is a great way to socialise and meet people, excersise and have a great time. go for it.
