Hi,

I'm going to take the 'plunge' and ask my boyfriend to marry me. I have a idea in mind about where and when I will do this but I am totally stuck for what to proposewith???
Could any Men or Women help me with some advice on what I should get my man for an engagement gift. Been scrolling the web but haven't been inspired as yet. He's not the type to want a ring.

Maybe some of you guys out there could tell me what you would be pleased with.

Straight to the point eh vibra! Actually, I may be wrong but I think most men are'nt in to overly slushy stuff, so vibras idea sounds good to me! ;0)

Lol, He would actually like that idea haha. He's really not a slushy man at all. That would go down very well I think :o)
If I proposed to my bloke he wouldnt be impressed at all. I played a trick on him last leap day and said in a text, now we've been together almost a year I;d like to ask.............. what would you like for tea. When I got home he said he'd panicked and when I said 'oh thanks' he said not because he wouldnt want to marry me but because he wants to be the one to ask me.
Also I find because its not the norm it looks a bit desperate and you maybe want to think if he really wants to marry you why he hasnt asked you yet.
Unless you are a man with another man of course
Vibra that is the most genius idea I have heard for ages!!!
this day and age most man could steal that idea and do it on their moobs

I have just realised though Vibra that it would read backwards??!! lol. wouldn't I need to write will you on the right and marry me on the left?? wouldn't I or am I being thick??!! :o)

Also 4getmenot, we had talked about marriage last year and he said he would like me to ask him first, then he would ask me sometime when he'd bought a ring etc. Not sure why, he doesn't really say. I think its because he is worried about me maybe saying no or that i'm not ready yet.
I did however say last year that I'm not asking (cos i'm too chicken), but after a while i've come round to the idea, and also he would be totally surprised now.
I very much doubt as well that he will ever tell his mates that I asked as he would want to be seen as the one who 'popped' the question. basically he is a big softie alone with me but he would NEVER want his mates to know that :o)

Some of you guys are strange lol
