Yes, i do, CuteToni......as i met mrs bear in the USA, whilst on a tour in her city, so if i had'nt been playing there, would'nt have met her.........would'nt have known her for over 21 years..... and been married to her for almost 18 years, and having four children with her too. :0)

Hi China,

The fate part is that i was'nt supposed to be in San Diego the night i met her......should have been in Los Angeles, but stayed on for an extra gig. If i went to L.A, would'nt have met her...life chosen down another path...could have gone to Bristol and married the lovely zzxxee............hence....fate :0) xx

Fate is something that is going to happen no matter what.... But that would imply life is mapped out for you and I don't believe that. Hence, you met your Mrs by decisions you made about your life up to that point.

Thanks for the explanation, CD........i agree with you there, but would add that fate is sometimes when, even if you could have been somewhere else, for instance, that as you were THERE, not elsewhere....it was destiny that brought you together, maybe not fate, as used in the context of the word.

But if fate is something thats going to happen no matter what, as you say, was there something telling me not to travel to L.A on that day in June 1989?. xx
