Yesterday I was at work and a male colleague was talking about someone he knew and said"shame she used to be pretty but has put on some weight recently"! what a derogatory comment? I think there must be a lot of men out there missing out on some fantastic girls if this is how they think....

That was rather a rude thing to say. Not all men are shallow, a nice face and figure are pleasing however it is the personality and compatibility that counts, for me anyway.

IMO women are far more picky when it comes to mens appearance. Fingernails a couple of microns over the regulation standard will have the average women clamping her legs together tighter than hydraulic ram.

No I dont agree...i think in general women/girls can usually see beyond the double chins and cuddly tummies. Or perhaps thtas just me, but going by the many lovely looking women with not so attractive guys i would think Im no the only one...

ANd when you're in a bar, and a couple of guys walk in (for a Strongbow? LOL) and they llok like they could have been lifting bricks, or they could have been in the gym, or they could have just had wild sex (not with each other, hopefully) ...
