Wouldn't bother me, but then I trust my OH.
I'm very much a party pooper these days anyway and would rather see the New Year in tucked up comfortably in bed under a nice warm duvet than being out somewhere, unable to drink because of driving, and then having to scrape the frost off the car to get home.

you may find it wont happen...this has happened to me once...and my boyfriend really wanted to go and was adamant that i couldnt go because it wasnt his do...one by one the lads pulled out ...because they wanted to spend time with their partners...its didnt happen...

its possibly something untoward...but it wouldnt be the first time an gang of lads have got togther an got wrecked at new year so theres no rreason why it isnt genuine...
