thanks for kind words wendilla.
Don't give up kate - Have you tried SW, I don't know if you have them near you. Our doctors surgery recommend them over WW. They say they have a better record of weight lose with patients at SW than the ones that go to WW. I haven't been going for the last tree weeks and did put on last week. My fault and I know what I did - trying not to this week but I am struggling. I won't give up though.

Onwards and Downwards
just weighed as I felt a bit lighter and I am down 5lbs probably a fluid shift with getting back on track what a great start to my day
well done, rowan - rah! for you. I'm still the same, but no more on, so I'm not disappointed.
Well done Rowan - That's a great weight loss.

Onwards and Downwards
Well I finally got my bottom back in gear this morning and went for a swim! And was brave enough to step on the scales! I've put on just under a pound so not too bad for three weeks of sloth!
Well done to all those who have lost and to all of us who have fallen off the wagon....summers nearly here!!!!!! lol

So, I lost 2 and a half stone with Weight Watchers, and after reaching my target weight have slipped slightly. I'm now at 10stone 8ish and want to get down to around 10 stone as I feel good at this weight (despite my boobs shrinking!)

Swimming was the key for me as I really enjoyed it however after moving house I'm no longer near to a pool :( I've joined with a PureGym as it is relatively cheap in comparison to some other places but there is no pool unfortunately. SO I need to motivate myself to actually work out, my hope is is that when I start to see some results I will feel motivated towards going more (whereas at the moment it is not enjoyable!)

Any tips?
Hi Divegirl not too bad in 3 weeks so should be easy for you to get back on track .Good luck for next weigh in.
Welcome Mcvj Welcome to our small group .Xstitcher started this a year ago and many have stuck with us .We just try and help one another with ideas for eating healthily. It has helped me as lost 2 stone last year but a bit stuck at the moment .Need another stone off . Hope to see you all tomorrow with your weigh ins .Rowan keep up the good work.Well done.
Onwards and Downwards.
Welcome, Mcvj
We have weigh-in tonight with SW. Keep your fingers crossed for us. We'll keep ours crossed for you.
Well I've got some pretty rubbish scales at home so I will also weigh in with you guys tomorrow.

Thank you for the kind words. I went to the gym last night in fact and I felt really motivated. Whereas previously I had gone with friends, last night I had gone on my own and created a playlist of motivational music and it really helped! It stopped me from looking at the timer on the equipment so much, and took my mind off the sweat!

Good luck for tomorrow ladies!
Well at last I have got back on track 2 lb loss this week. This certainly gives me the kick now to keep on track. Look forward to hearing from you all. Onwards and Downwards.
Did it!
I have reached my target and gone half a pound under. That makes a total of more than two and a half stones.
Now I have to concentrate on maintenance, as I don't want to lose any more.
Thanks to all for your support, and good luck to all who are still on the 'Onwards and downwards' trail.
Well done anniemollie yes you are right you still have to work at maintaining it . That is why I could not afford to undo all the good work I did losing 2 stone last year. Now aiming for the other stone.
Just to add to my previous post - I am going to fill an old suitcase until it weighs 35 and a half pounds and carry it up and down the stairs a few times. Every time I feel tempted, I'll do it again. Just think - last year I was lugging all that weight around on ME!
What an excellent idea .
I have got one of those backpacks so I am going to fill that with heavy books up to 2 stone. Thanks for that anniemollie.

I like this idea! Back may be best as it spreads the weight out. Also, if the suitcase has wheels anne it's cheating!

If anyone has actually tried it please let us know what you thought when you lifted your old weight?

Question Author
Oh, and I may be joining you all again now I've put a couple of kilos back on since my holiday! Hope you don't mind.

Spare Ed
Hey, Ed
If the suitcase has wheels, how is it cheating if I carry it upstairs?
XSTITCHER OUR LEADER who started this last year should be back with us next week all being well as she has been poorly.
