Thanks Ed - It was getting a little long. :-))
thanks ed.i didnt get to ww. this week, nor am i going swimming,i will start afresh next week as i have a chest infection, trying to eat sensibly though,i am making chicken lasagne for tea tonight as my sons are coming up.
I'm not going to SW at the moment but I'm still following the eating plan. I think I may have lost this week but will weigh either tomorrow or Wed am. I've had a sore throat so not really been eating all that well. Still we will see.

I hope you are feeling better Kate.
I'm doing it too now! :c)

I will weigh myself this evening and come back and tell you next Monday how I'm doing if that's ok with everyone? (Does it have to be wednesday?).

I won't be doing any of the slimming world or weight watchers things as I just don't have the interest or inclination to join a group so you will be my support group.

Does anyone know of a good online food diary? I was going to get a little notebook but it might be just as well to do it online throughout the day as I'll probably get lazy with a note book.
You're very welcome China Doll. The only online diary that I know of is though SW and you have to be a member to use it. I can't use it at the moment as I've stopped going.

You could set up a spreadsheet I suppose and save it to the computer? Good luck.
google'online food diary' there is quite a lot,i have the ww diary because i get a monthly pass but its for members only
Back to target weight once more..beware of the slippery slope...thinking it's 'not worth the effort' to cook a proper meal for one, opting for a sandwich and crisps instead. =)
Lost you all as recent posts were not showing. I will inform Xstitcher as this is how we lost her before but I have left a note on the last Onwards and Downwards thread. Hope you all do well for tomorrow .I am hoping but we will see.
Chinadoll Xstitcher set this up a year ago and I replied and I said that I usually weigh on a wednesday and it was left like that and everyone joined in but feel free to post anytime but we usually all post our weight loss or gain on a Wednesday so you can always come in again then and tell us . Onwards and Downwards
not a good week this week...but better than some recently will weigh tomorrow and see...hopefully will stay the same again...not hoping for a loss...
AB ED can you please put this thread back to the heading of XSTITCHER as she is the one that started it a year ago. You should have continued it from her previous thread that we have all been following and think it only fair it should be continued by her. Thanks. or we could start on her thread below this one.
Good Morning All, WeIl I write this with a sigh of relief as despite the three lunches with friends and/or family this week I remain the same. Not that the "same" is good enough. Onwards and downwards and hope the rest of you have done better than yours truly.
Welcome aboard China Doll. As Wendilla says you can weigh yourself in where ever it is the best for you. Most of us just weigh ourselves once a week which keeps our fingers on the pulse quite well.
We seem to be a group with an age span of 30's 40's? up to the 70's so there is something for everybody but the main goal is to loose weight in the way that suits each of us the best. Good luck and as we say "Onwards and downwards"
Good Morning Xstitcher and all to follow well I have stayed the same. Got to do something in earnest. My son has had a new puppy so perhaps I can borrow that and take it walks when it's finished it's injections. Oh well Onwards and Downwards.
syayed the same as hoped....heavy weekend ahead but hope to be good the rest of the time...I think its always hard about now...theres a bit of a lull...the early part of the years good intentions have started to fizzle out and the OMG its only a few weeks to my holiday have yet to hit... but we will get there...eventually....onwards and downwards
hI Rowan good to stay the same but I have had a lull for weeks now so might have a better week.I start with good intentions every morning.
I know the feeling wendilla, I always think right starting today I'll write everything down. It all starts well but by lunchtime - I'm busy, I'll do it later I can rememeber what I had - and so it continues. But I have managed to lose 1.5lbs this week so I'm doing something right somewhere. I would have been pleased with staying the same this week as I've got a sore throat and conjuntivitis (sp) so I've been sucking throat sweets like they are going out of fashion. Also because I'm not feeling too well I've not been doing much exercise. But I'm begining to feel better so in the next few days I think I'll get the Wii out and go for a few walks too.

Good Luck everyone - Onwards and Downwards.
Well done Jimjooles and hope you feel better soon. I have started off well boiled egg and 1 slice of toast and the birds have had a piece of that so that's a few less cals.
Went to SW last night - weight unchanged - very surprising as I was 'attacked by chocolate' at the weekend and lost the fight.
Bought a new cossie today - 2 sizes smaller than last year.
I have just been visciously savaged by a gang led by Greasy Croissant and his sidekick chocolate Bic vic
