Snacks

Other than fruit and veg, what low cal snacks can people recommend?
I eat fruit mid-morning and rarely crave a snack in the afternoon, but after my evening meal I have a yoghurt and am sometimes looking around for a snack mid evening.
What works for you when this happens?

I also cut a flour tortilla into triangles. Sprinkle with paprika and chilli powder and bake or grill until crisp. I either have it with home-made salsa or hoummos.
Frozen chocolate covered bananas. Melt some dark choc, skewer the bananas with wooden skewers, dip into the chocolate, sprinkle with either some toasted coconut or chopped nuts.Place on a baking sheet and freeze.

Asda do a fantasic range of different flavoured houmous
roasted garlic
sweet chilli
Jalepeno (hot)
Morrocon style (my fave)

Fruit has been banned as an answer has it :-( Oh well, apart from that I tend to keep some of the "Go Ahead" snacks in my desk in case I can't resist having something late afternoon. A bag of the baked "crisps" come in at just around 100 kc. Sunbites about 120 kc. Just don't have all options on the same afternoon.
Thanks again everyone.
I do eat quite a bit of hummous (low fat option) for lunch with crispbread or for dinner with a jacket potato and salad. Mid evening I tend to look for something sweet or neutral tasting and head for rice cakes or the odd low cal snack bar. I'll check out the Go Ahead range (thanks OG) and replenish the stock of Ryvitas.

I sometimes have 3 M & S Cheese & Onion pastry rolls with a huge salad for a meal. They are like mini sausage rolls except they are cheese and onion of course. They are really tasty and being a veggi, I love them. They are only about £1.50 for 6 and each one is only 4 syns on SW. So if me and OH have 3 each, thats only 12 of my syns I have used of which we are allowed 15 per day. You could probably have them as an evening snack. Not sure how many calories they are. havnt got any in freezer at the mo to check
Alpen light Bars, 2 finger kitkat or curly wurly. Add a choc options sachet + diet sweetner to quark to make a choc cheescake kinda thing - delicious with some strawberrys or other fruit (can be used as a dip). I make a sweet omlette whisk up 2 eggs with some sweetner and vanilla essence and fry using fry lite to make an omlette put on a plate and then add some frozen mixed berries (defrosted) fold in half and pour over fat free fromage frais and that is very yummy.
