Onwards and Downwards Continues in May

Hi Everyone,

Well it looks like we may actually have some nice weather soon after about a month of rain. Will many of you now be able to get out and about more and hopefully get a bit more exercise?

I know I will!

Here is last months thread

Thanks Xstitcher and Wendilla. I feel like I know how to lose weight now.I was getting nowhere before.
Now that is what we like to hear.............
Well I've finally gone and ordered a vibration plate as getting fed up with not being able to exercise. All my flab is going nowhere at the moment so need something to help me tone up. Been told should be here tomorrow so will keep you all updated on how it goes. Sleepless night last night and tried to be good yesterday and ate a huge plate of stir fry veg which has now resulted in a bad stomach! Not a happy bunny this morning and don't think I'll see a loss at weigh in tomorrow, not with all this trapped wind!
Was it expensive Jan? We'll be looking forward to your evaluation of it.

I have been dry frying vegetables...courgettes and onions....on a griddle pan. It makes them taste like they have been grilled and is another variation that can keep the naughty step at bay.
It was £209 xstitcher which was quite reasonable compared to some others I looked at. I did research it for quite a while as there are a lot of different ones out there. Will let you know if the wobbling helps at all.
Well for that price it should work Jan. It sounds like fun, your wobbling........hubby has just found out that our scales seems to have broken again.....................watch this space.
Am I allowed to join even though I only get weighed once a month?
This is open for everybody roobidoo and you are very welcome. We weigh ourselves on our home scales once a week. This is the recommended time between weigh ins but if for some reason you can only do it once a month so be it......
Thank you :) Without wanting to come over all mysterious, currently it's better for me to be weighed at the doctors at my monthly check-up. Had mine today and I'm down 9 pounds. Looking forward to getting all your updates tomorrow.
Good Morning All,

Good news....good by naughty step and hello to my halo. Here's what happened...my OH has taken a liking to the Spanish bakery and so everyday we drive over there to get a small bread for him....well you can guess the rest. Now I shall just have one once a week as my treat for staying on the straight and narrow and see how that goes.

As for the rest of you.....get on those scales and let's here from you. You have all been doing so well. Onwards and downwards...........
Good Morning Xstitcher and Welcome to Roobidoo.
I am not on the naughtly step goodness knows why. Oh dear Xstitcher is your hubby going to take some supplies home.
Not on your Nelly Wendilla !!!!
Think you better check his suitcase lol lol
Where are you OG? We miss you.
I pop up like the proverbial bad penny :-)

Down ¾ lbs over the week, but unsure why it had to jump up over the last 24 hours.

I'm also unsure why I seem so often be down over the week, and yet not really made any progress over the last two months or more. I have my "bad" days but they aren't that common. I have "good" ones too. I guess if I made a graph it has to show most weeks I'm down a small amount and then some weeks just hit me with a large rise.

Actually a graph would be interesting but I don't think I could be bothered to collate the data and shove it into a spreadsheet.

Oh, by the way, by the time the company responded to my question on their scales (note responded, not answered) they'd run out of stock of it and recommended one that didn't appeal so much :-(

Congrats to all those who missed the naughty step this week. And welcome to new members. Internal reflection and lamentation on what they did wrong for those on the step.
Good to hear from you OG and sorry to hear that the quest for new scales still seems to be unsuccessful. It's a long time since you have been on the naughty step so you must be going down in dips and dabs. I have been there quite alone lately, and it is empty at the moment....
Oh dear, naughty step for me this week but looks like I shall be there alone, so well done everyone. 1lb on for me but the good news is vibration plate has arrived (well I hope that's what is in the huge box cluttering up my hallway) but awaiting a visit from a friend who is going to help me put it together. Hopefully I will be wobbling away soon and back on the straight and narrow next week.
Sorry to hear about that misplaced 1 pound Jan....just a hiccup. You have done so well that it is a pity you are on the naughty step.

I'm sure that we are all waiting with bated breath to hear how you make out with your wobbler.
A wobbler, yes I like it. Sounds so much better than my friend who rang earlier to ask if my vibrator had arrived yet! Don't worry I will let you all know how the wobbler does. :-)
Don't worry Jan a 1lb blip is nothing after all you have achieved. Had to have a laugh about the vibrater lol.
