Welcome Sophie I am sure you will get lots of tips from others but my plan is I eat healthily plenty of fish chicken plenty of veg with meals. Don't live on salads at every meal. Always make sure you have breakfast. I keep telling people to have a small glass of unsweetened grapefruit juice in the morning as that works for me. Shop so that you don't run out of ideas...

Well done OG this is what I don't understand like you I can have a part naughty week and I lose then when I have a strict week I don't lose. Might do be good if I have that Eton Mess when I go the carvery on Sunday. I am going to have a weigh on Sunday morning and see what room I have lol lol .
Interesting what Maidup says about the stomach shrinking. I've also found that I don't feel the need to eat as much as I used to, so perhaps there is something in this.

Lost a pound according to bathroom scales. Unfortunately they don't always agree with the Slimming World scales, so I'll wait until tonight to congatulate myself.
Well done, especially to Maid-up! I have stayed the same, I was thinking I was going to lose something, it's all very confusing. I'm back to work next week so maybe it will be easier to lose weight then.

Morning all,

It is great to see so many of you doing well, and perking up the others that didn't quite make their target each week, you are an inspiration.

Keep up the good work, both on and off the scales :-)
Thanks Ed if it wasn't for this thread I think a lot of us would have given up as over the months we feel as if we know one another and how they lose weight and there given ideas. It certainly helps.
Thanks, yes it is nice to have empathy or congratulations each week :-)
Well done, Maidup and to you too, OG. Wendilla and xstitcher, at least you haven't put any on so that is always a plus. I have managed to lose 1 lb this week so am quite happy as I am on my last stone so only lbs to go now! Am going on a short break in a few weeks so am trying to lose more in the next few weeks to allow for what I will probably gain when I am away!
Hi Sophie, are you able to get to a group for slimming? I find the help and support invaluable - as well as joining this thread. It helps to keep on focus and remindsyou that you're not the only one trying, and occasionally struggling, to lose weight.
Off to SW later. Have been delivering leaflets this week but feel uncertain as to whether I have lost or not. Still, keeping on going is the main thing
Wow, only pounds to go. I recall being there once; so long ago. ;-)
Good for you.
13 lbs, mind you OG, but sounds a lot less than a stone!
Well done to all who have lost, specially Maidup & Spotit. I've lost 1 1/2 this week, so I'm chuffed. Wendilla, you're always so encouraging for everyone else. I hope you soon feel less disheartened and treat yourself to the Eton Mess- and enjoy it. Have a good week everyone. :)
1lb on this week but not a surprise. Need to get back in a routine, back at work, etc and keep up the exercise.
No sheenamf; I could but my evenings are pretty busy as it is and am going to start going to the gym as well so want to focus on that really. Am doing OK still; better even now I'm back at work and can avoid biscuits (so long as I don't go in the staff room!) not weighing until Saturday when it will have been a week since last time so fingers crossed!
Just had to tell you all. I tried on some clothes tonight that were too tight a few months ago and now they are loose on me. Overjoyed! You will have realised by now it doesn't take much to make me happy!!
What a great feeling it is spotit3. It only feels like yesterday that we were strugging to get going with our dieting and here we are swimming around in our clothes already. well done you and onward and downward.
Well done all losers this week. I'm joining the stayed the same club and quite happy with that as have not been very good. Time to get back to seriously trying again though. Have a good week all.
Well done to you all yesterday. I lost you, hence the silence (new computer) I too think that old loose clothes give a boost that is unbelievable.

I really am impressed with the positive infos this weeks, keep it up and onwards and downwards...
Well done Spotit 3. Jan don't worry about staying the same as your weight loss is fantastic. Thank you Kacee for your kind words. It is the support with each other that helps. Sheemanf by coming on here you will rectify it. I am off to Asda later with my carefully written shopping list. Good luck for next week all.
Thanks to everyone for their kind comments. I must say before I joined this site I really had no motivation but joining has worked wonders. So to one and all, losers or not, you will all get their with the help and support of each of us.
