What do you get if you have two bank holidays in one month?

Heavier.

That's my experience anyway!

Last month we were discussing the fact that the reported guidelines keep changing. For example, apparently eating fat doesn't make you fat?

Who knows. In one of the Terry Prachett books one of the Wizards only eat thin, long food as he believes it will make him thinner. We may as well follow this advice :)

It is always so weird. Due to an unpredictable rise of 1lb over the last 24 hours it seems I stayed the same this past week after all.
Everyone gone on holiday this week then.
And I wasn't even invited along :-(
Whoops I thought today was Tuesday but did weigh myself this morning and was the same. I don't know why I thought it was Tuesday when I've been doing Wed. Things all day...welcome to my world!
I completely forgot . So I hope I am in for a nice surprise next week OH I like the sound of the asparagus must try it

I'm down a bit, not much but the scales are going in the right way so I'm feeling quite pleased.
Excellent. Not sure what mine will read later. Yesterday it was looking like unchanged but Tuesday to Wednesday seem to be jump up periods of late.
Well wasn't going to drop off to sleep again so I got up a bit early and checked. Over the last 24 hours I went up again, as seems to be the new norm (must be these 3 days uncontrolled intake weekends). +0.8 lbs. But since last Tuesday/Wednesday was similar I actually dropped 0.2 lbs over the week. I guess that counts as a "bit" in the right direction ;-)
Ofcourse it counts OG. Yesterday my weight was harking back to a lunch we had at a friend's but that's gone and best forgotten now.
PS: that lunch was last Saturday.
Good morning xstitcher and OG I have not weighed for about 3 weeks and forgot first thing but I have weighed dressed and I am down a whopping 3 lbs . But that is over 3 to 4 weeks . And I had a chinese on Saturday with chips .my halo is glowing .
Xstitcher you going the right way even if it is ounces .goes for OG too .

(You sure you weren't hiding it for weeks until this week's 7 day fast ;-) )
Anyway all good news (so far) this week.
There is no logic to this dieting lark. I over-consumed by 20% yesterday (sort of snuck up on me. perhaps I ought not have had that healthy half pot of olives before dinner, but I was too busy to stop and "starving"). Had the usual amount to drink.

Today I've dropped 1.6 lbs in 24 hours apparently. I even weighted myself twice to be sure. What's the betting it's all back again tomorrow ?
I've noticed in the past two weeks when we've been at friends for two lunches and I put the healthy eating on hold, that I see the climb in weight a couple of days after so be prepared for an olive reminder.
Speaking of olives, if you put a slice of lemon in the jar they will keep longer.
Once the pot is opened I have difficulty splitting them to last 3 days. I was than hungry yesterday that this one will only last 2 ;-)
