September Failure

Am going to strive for November as I truly don't have any choice.
Have found the past few months whether it is psychological I can't control my eating - particularly sweet stuff which sometimes I put in my mouth and spit out with loathe.
Some weeks ago I was buying bags of "Revels" a bag a night - jesus - that's not me. Particularly when I have so much trouble with my teeth.
Then it isI can't get enough bread/carbohydrates - and so it goes on.
Have a few methods up my sleeve - ie a little more activity, less carbohydrates and also calculator.
I am not worried vanity wise but health wise and clothes wise - things are getting tighter and uncomfortable and just feel terrible overall. Do hope I come down at least half a stone by the end of November. Cousin is feeling the same.
Must say since I retired from work 10 years ago - this is is my worst year of overeating and not only that - pre-occupied with eating.
Hey what do you do - sit in the house - not meet friends etc - and not eat which leads to boredom - or go out and meet friends for coffee, lunches, and meals - what does a woman do. That's my rant over. 7lbs off for the end of November.

OK, I know it's not too bad but it could be better:
I weigh roughly 75kg (11st 11lb) but I'd rather weigh under 70kg (11st 0lb) and ideally about 65kg (10st 3lb), as I used to for many years. (My height is about 180cm = 5' 11")
Perhaps I could attach lots of helium-filled balloons to my body before I get weighed?
;-)

Wow. Most of my life 34" waist would be a dream. Then in middle age, that which was clearly normal/medium fit was starting to be difficult to find in the rack, as stores were clearly catering to beanpole waist size and making out that was normal.
Yes, I too notice how one gets zero exercise after retirement, unless one has the willpower to make it a vital chore to be regularly done. Gyms are expensive, and it's either too hot or too cold to go out for walks. Indoors is safe and hassle free. Pity there's no space to exercise in, should an unlikely urge to do so, come on.

Don't beat yourself up for having Revels or whatever. Just open the pack and train yourself to have a few only that day. (Easier to do with candy than those large bags of crisps, which once opened tend to allow the contents to start to soffen. But it needs a period of exerting willpower before it becomes natural.)
