Hi all,

Here is last month's thread.

Usually the hot weather brings a lack of appetite, however with the lovely weather we experienced in May has anyone slipped into a bucket of ice cream?

Thanks Ed!
Wow, June already !
Good morning all, Is it hot enough for you?
Down a bit so that’s good.
I'm saying nothing
That doesn’t sound good Rowan.
I decided to go back to trying to diet when I (inexplicably ;/ ) reached my previously highest weight recently. So far I’ve lost a few pounds in the last couple of weeks.

More salads and cycling needed. See where I am next month.
Dunno about not sounding good, but Rowan seems to be looking good :-)
Good morning all.....happy flappy down 4 pounds (water) from one day to the next with help of water pills. Believe me I can feel the difference!
I'm on water pills (prescribed) and although I pee more I feel no difference.

Do you actually need them for water retention?
Yes I do ummmmm. I have to weigh myself every day to make sure that I’m not overhydrated and suddenly my weight jumped 4 pounds from one day to the next. I upped my pills as instructed and could have spent yesterday on the loo so there was no doubt about it. I could feel that my legs were sluggish also. I’ve been hospitalised for this a few years ago so I’m under good control but thank you for your concern.
Was pleased to see I was down yesterday, since I was last able to weigh. Was well under intake goal for the following 24 hours, only to find I'd gone up this morning. There's no accounting for this world, it's a law unto itself.
Stitcher - I suffer with it too. It was just last week I had to go into hospital to be drained. The toilet visits are very tedious, especially through the night.
They are needed for water retention, ummm... although often inconvenient.
You don't have to tell me, Pixie, I'd rather the disturbed sleep and constant toilet visits than being in pain carrying a stone + worth of fluid around.
I so agree with you ummmmmm. Normally I take one in the morning and that’s sufficient. All diuretics here are subscribed by a doctor.
Good morning all,
Hmmm not pleased with scales but haven’t gone into deep depression either.
The heat definitely doesn’t effect my appetite. I hope you’re all ok and well.
Fine thank you, but nowhere near scales.
I'll find out how much I'm wasting away next week, sometime.
Morning all, nothing exciting to report, weight neither here nor there. Do hope that you’re you’re still visible OG and haven’t completely wasted away. I hear that your pubs are opening. That must put a sparkle in your eye!
:-)
Cheers. In fact since my last visit to the scales I have, allegedly, dropped 1.4 lbs. Not sure how though.

Ah pubs. Would be nice but I'm not attracted by having to give ID to get in. Will wait for more normal times and continue with the supermarket bottled ales & ciders (or wine) in the back garden :-)
OG, why do you have to show ID to get into a pub, and what kind of ID? The back garden sounds safe and nice.
