Please could someone clarify the definition of 3 business days? For example today being Monday is Wednesday or Thursday the 3rd Business day?

Wednesday. Today being day 1, tomorrow day 2 and wednesday is day 3.

Thanks - very confused as made an urgent payment this morning which has to arrive by Wednesday and one person at HSBC said 3 days Wednesday but another said 3 days was Thursday.

I worked for NatWest for 20 yrs and we always counted 3 working days as Mon-Weds, to Thursday would be 4.
