Just seen 1st ep - not too bad but don't need a brain to follow it - and was wondering if anyone can identify where it was filmed?

Maybe it was more than one seaside location but would be interested to know if you recognised anywhere

DOHHH Candy Cabs
1st ep of what exactly?
Are you two related?
Ooops sorry crossed in post there - didn't watch it!
Paul Nicholls is still fit...........
This (usually reliable) source refers to filming in Lymme, but that's not a seaside location!

Answered elsewhere as Hoylake on the Wirral
-- answer removed --
It's quite likely that different scenes were filmed many miles apart. For example, 'Kingdom' was set in a seaside town but most of it was shot in Swaffham, which is in central Norfolk. When a coastal shot was required, the team temporarily relocated to the North Norfolk coast (using several different places).
Red Rocks
Lakeela said on my thread last night that he was sure itwas filmd at Hoylake on the Wirral and the seaside shots done at Red Rock.
I noticed one of the phone numbers on a shop was 01632 and that is tyne & wear
That could have been a bum steer!
Definitely, Hoylake and I also recognised the West Kirby Lifeboat Station in an aerial shot..........
