Asking for credit increase...
2 Answers
If I ask for an increase in a credit card limit does involve a whole credit check? I don't want to "waste" an imprint if it does. Or is it an in-house assessment? Do you have to be near your limit? Thank you all.

They will not divulge to you what this limit is. If you ask up to this 'limit' they will not do a credit credit because it was already done when the credit card was opened. If you ask for a larger amount they will do a financial assessment, ask you your in goings and out goings etc and they may do a check just to make sure everything is as it should be.
