Need Help With My Phones.
2 Answers
I have a BT phone with which I use Broadband. I paid £120 in advance for line rental last year to save money. This January it is going up to £141. Also they are putting my Broadband up in January (if I renew) from £10.65 to £14.00 per month. This 'deal' gives me free calls after 7pm to land lines only, as well as to 0845 and 0870 numbers. I also have an Orange contract mobile which charges me £15 per month for my old fashioned Nokia mobile (which I am happy to keep). I use this for outgoing calls day and evening. A mobile with lots of minutes per month would be good for me. I suppose I use the phone roughly one hour a day minimum. I don't need internet on my phone so don't need a new phone, just a contract for calls and a few texts. I don't mind cancelling BT altogether and using a contract phone with a Broadband deal. I understand I can still use my BT internet for emails if I cancel my BT line. Can someone help me , this is so confusing. What is the best deal out there, should I keep my BT phone as well as Contract mobile, pricewise? I have to renew my Orange contract in January. Thanks all !

It might be worth you having a look at PlusNet for the land line `phone and broad band as they are quite cheap and good and are actually owned by BT so they may enjoy a rather less acrimonious relationship with BT than other parasitic "licenced providers" who actually use BT lines as they do not own any themselves; http:// www. plus. net/ Regards, Bob.
