We have believed that someone other than you is trying to access
your account for security reasons, we have temporarily suspend your

Oh no it doesn't! Even if you get a similar looking email (apparently) from your own bank the first thing that should worry you is being addressed as 'Dear Customer'. Any legitimate email will always address you by name.
Then (assuming that you've used cut & paste) the next thing to look out for is poor English, such as "multiple login attempt error while login in to your online Nationwide account" and "we have temporarily suspend your
account".
Nearly everyone gets such emails periodically. Just delete them or, if you think that they might be genuine, contact your bank directly. (It's possible that fraudsters will send out particularly large numbers of such emails over this weekend, as they know that many bank branches are closed until Tuesday).

I used to forward them to the organisations phishing reporting site but I have pretty much given up doing that as I don't believe there is much if anything they can or will actually do. I must have reported at least 50 to Paypal over the last 12 months but still the same (they appear identical) phishing emails keep arriving
Apart from the Dear Valued Customer and usually bad English that gives these away (plus the fact that I generally don't even have an account with these banks), you can do two other things to check:
1) Look at the headers if you have that option in your email facility
2) Hover over any link in the email and what appears to be a genuine Nationwide address is probably some random looking address in somewhere like Rumania
