hafve just checked my bak and been paid an extra 25 income support and an extra 20 for tax credits anyone else on these benifits had an extra payment???
Sort of agree with theonlyone there. Whilst I don't resent anyone on benefits getting extra due to it being cold (blimey, cold in January- who'd have thunk it!). It does seem that those of us who work lose out yet again- do we not feel the cold the same or something?
There was a notice in one of the national papers last week the the DWP are adding 60.00 onto anyone receiving the state pension - they said that depending on what allowances you are on, i.e Income support, Disability living etc you may be entitled to extra money too. I think that it may be because of the Winter Heating allowance and the gas prices rocketing, although I may be wrong.
Careful old grape you have now most probably opened yourself up to rude comments about being on benefits..... Only certain people have the ability to accept that some people cant/dont work for many reasons......it should not automatcially be put down to someone "sponging"!! RUDE!! Just ignore em...
