Thanks for that very prompt reply. My Aunt has implyed that my Grandfather is of limited intelligence and when he transfered the property in 1998 at the age of 75 he did not know what he was doing. The transfer was carried out by solicitors who acted on his behalf. My Aunt is trying every angle on this one. He recently had a social services assessment and was described as not suffering with dimenture. He can read although his writing is not great. I still wonder, as over 6 years have passed, if a claim can be made or would'nt that rule apply in this case. I am from Wales.

It is a theoretical possibility, but personally I would not lose any sleep over it. She would need to obtain authority to bring such a claim, and then show that he did not know what he was doing when he transferred the property. Neither step would be easy, and the fact that his writing is poor is neither here nor there. Had to be Wales with prices like that!
