Mobile Phone Contract

My old mobile phone contract (orange) came to an end on 29th may so on around 4th or 5th of may I rang up to cancel and give my 30 days notice. The billing cycle was 19th of each month and the money came out of my account around 4th of each month.

I've just checked my bank statement and noticed a payment to orange of around the normal bill price that came out yesterday. Surely I shouldn't be charged this latest amount as I rang up to cancel beginning of may?

Or have I missed something?
