What Should I Buy For £13?

I have had £13 credit on a credit card for two or three years.
I want to close this account and so need to spend £13 exactly. What would you buy for that?

stamps are good, actually: buy 1st and 2nd class stamps now and hoard them - you'll still be able to use them when the price goes up.

That's how I got in to this mess in the first place, Tora. I bought something with the card, paid it straight away then had to return the item. Obviously they only refund to the card.

If you close the account the £13 should be refunded.

Buy anything and just part pay with that card. I've seen people do that in supermarkets.

You can use the card to part pay a larger bill by putting the 13.00 onto the card and pay the balance by another means .
