Number plates go on ebay for 10 I can make them plus cost for 6

Remember that you must register your business and keep stringent record, it you are going to provide plates over the net you may have difficulty confirming your customers rights to use the plate they are requesting. There are some heavy fines if you do things wrong.

I wouldn't imagine it is not very profitable and would normally be an added revenue stream for a business with other interests rather than a single product, though I must admit this is just my gut reaction as I have no knowledge of the market I'm afraid.
