The post office no longer keep forms to withdraw Premium Bonds, seems the only way to get them is to print them off...

Great, except my printer has given up the ghost. Why do these organisations think everyone has access to technology these days.

That's my Monday morning moan!

We are still waiting to find out what printer you have?

But I tend to agree that everyone seems to expect you to have online access and a smartphone, especially when they want your money.
Why don’t you just register to do it all online? so much easier and the security is so tight its tedious.
I manage my bonds online, too.
Wireless printers come in around £40 but not Lexmark as their inks are very expensive.

Thanks for replies. I will get round to getting the printer details on here asap.

To register online you still need to print the forms..

I tried ringing them twice this morning. No reply, it just keeps ringing and cuts you off after 6 minutes each time.

I have arranged for someone to print them for me this time. Such a waste of time trying to sort it out.

The point the OP is making is that why should she have to buy a printer. I totally agree that these Companies always expect you to have the latest technology.

I thnk its particularly bad for old people who would have a clue how to do such things.

My Mum, for example, couldn't even switch on a PC, luckily she has me to sort her affairs out but not everyone has.
Would NOT ^^^
cupotee, what number are you ringing? I rang 0500 007 007 this morning and got straight through.
they expect you to have them because the majority of people do. If You can get to the local library, they will print them off for you

That's the number I was ringing Dannyk13.

I got my niece to print them off for me in the end.

I also had the form printed to register online. Hopefully I won't have to go through this palava again.

Just making a point. One cannot buy premium bonds in the post office either. Have to buy on line.
You can also buy them by phone and by post.
Why should the Post Office (which often means a small shopkeeper) provide a free service for a product it no longer has a financial interest in?
