How can my colleague fund a canal boat to live on? He cannot get a mortgage or personal loan from his bank - they don't do boat mortgages and a personal loan needs to be paid over 7 years and he wants to make repayments over 10 years. Any special mortgages for boats have ludicrous interest rates.
Unlike me - he has an excellent credit score! Does anyone have any tips or advice they could offer
