Sending money to Pakistan

I would like to send a small sum of money to a friend in Pakistan and would like to find the cheapest way of doing this. I have heard about ikobo but am not sure if this is a safe method. Would appreciate any advice on this.

Another thought: MoneyGram is a popular service. You can pay money in at any post office (or branch of Thomas Cook) as well as online.
