PIP when you have reached pension age
----------------------------------------------
If you start claiming Personal Independence Payment (PIP) after 31 May 2019, you will no longer have your payment reviewed when you reach state pension age.

Instead you will get an ongoing payment and a light touch review after ten years.

If you were claiming PIP before 31 May 2019, you will still have a review when you reach state pension age. But, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has said it will extend the ongoing payment to all claimants in the coming months.
